Keating Rhoads

 

Keating Rhoads is President and Chief Operating Officer of Nursing Education International, a start-up pre-licensure nurse education venture. Rhoads began his career in higher education administration, at Stanford University and the University of San Francisco, before entering the newspaper industry in 1978, with Harte-Hanks Communications, Inc. Recruited in 1985 by the Times Mirror Company as the chief finance and operations officer and director for The Morning Call, Inc. in Pennsylvania, he then joined the Los Angeles Times in 1991. Thereafter Rhoads served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Creative Computers, a computer reseller and e-commerce entity and as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tartan Textile Services through 2003. He also has served as a Director of e-Cost.com, a NASDAQ traded e-commerce company. In Southern California, Keating has held board positions with the Los Angeles Urban League, the Times Mirror Foundation, the Blind Children’s Learning Center in Tustin, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and Laguna Art Museum.
