Igal Silber

Igal Silber, MD is a retired Pediatric Urologist having been in Private Practice as well as being affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and UCI. He trained at Washington University, St Louis and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He served as President of the Medical Staff of CHOC and was a full clinical professor at UCI Medical School in both the Departments of Surgery and Pediatrics.

In addition to medicine, he has always been interested the arts, music, travel and sharing life with good friends and family. He served for 3 years as the President of the Board of Trustees of the Laguna Art Museum. He is now happy to be part of the LCAD family as a Board member. Igal is married to Diane B Silber, a retired Clinical Psychologist. They have lived in Laguna Beach since 1978 and share a passion for collecting art. Their collection includes paintings, sculpture and ceramics with a focus on contemporary ceramic art.
