Marla Noel

Marla J. Noel is President and Board Member of Fairhaven Memorial Park and Mortuary, an organization established in 1911 with over 80 staff members located on the border of Santa Ana and the city of Orange in California. Fairhaven has a mortuary in downtown Santa Ana, which serves the needs of the Hispanic community. The Fairhaven Family also includes Infinity Cremation Society and Fairhaven Memorial Services, a mortuary office in Mission Viejo.

Marla is a CPA with over twenty-five years of experience in business. She obtained her MBA from Chapman University and was inducted into the National Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma. Her undergraduate degree is from Indiana University where she received a BS in accounting. Marla is actively involved in her community and has served on various Boards, including OC ARC, an organization for the developmentally disabled in Orange County and the Santa Ana Rotary Club. Marla served as President of the Santa Ana Rotary Club and was responsible for involving the Santa Ana Rotary Club in the Interact Club at Saddleback High School, Rebuilding Together and Corizon de Vida. In addition to community service through Rotary, Marla volunteered with the Long Beach police department in Public Relations.

Marla is also a past president of Saddleback Sunrise Toastmasters. She enjoys public speaking and feels that her speaking ability is the result of her experience with Toastmasters. Marla enjoys working with youth, and has established the first Explorer’s Club in her field. Several of the youth who have gone through the program at Fairhaven have active careers in the industry.

Marla believes in her own on-going education through reading books and articles on business. She is also a member of Vistage (formerly TEC), and both Fairhaven and Marla have benefited from her experience in this valuable business organization.
